My story of the Bataan Death March was centered around Dr. Ralph Hibbs, whose secret efforts brought medical aid to those involved in the Death March before he was captured and became a Japanese prisoner. And, eventually, of the thousands of prisoners, one of only 500 that survived. He later became a “2nd Father” to me.

Therefore, it was an honor to learn that Dr. Hibbs daughter, Jennifer Hibbs, sent me this note:
