Monumental Talks July 4th Parade
The Idea:
Last year’s 9/11 Remembrance Event audience was very enthusiastic. Our Master of Ceremonies, Joe Marine, asked if the Event should become “Annual.” There was a very convincing outburst of support. For that reason, our 9/11 Remembrance Event is now booked as an “Annual 9/11 Event” at the Civic Auditorium with the Everett School District.
Some of last year’s attendee’s favored creating an Entry into Everett’s 4th of July Parade to remind our Community about the upcoming 9/11 Remembrance Event in September. Particularly, because September is a very busy time of the year.
Their interest in the July 4th Parade arose because of the approximately 10-15,000 spectators that attended Everett’s Parade last year.
With the leadership of Volunteers of America, we hope to find supporters interested in accompanying our Parade Trucks, who will be able to pass out 2,000 or more of our FLYERS to the Crowd.
The Flyer:
Each FLYER will have QR CODE that allows your cell phone to immediately access the same Patriotic music that we will be broadcasting from our Trucks along the Parade Route. You can capture this 1 hour of Patriotic Music with your Cell phone in < 10 seconds.

The Banners:
The Banners on our Parade Trucks will communicate our Message to the 10-15,000 spectators.
The message that we will bring to the thousands of spectators viewing our Parade Trucks & Banners will be the same as the one we brought to our audience at the Civic Auditorium last year. A message that we identified as arising from the Hartley Family 108 years ago.
The Background:
In August of 1917, at the Hartley Mansion in Everett, Roland Hartley, clearly expressed, through his own hand-written note, that he had probably inspired the spirit of Freedom within his 2 sons and family.
In that single month, August of 1917, Roland Hartley, a 53 yo immigrant, a very successful businessman, a past Everett Mayor and a future 2 Term Governor of Washington State enlisted with the Washington National Guard as a Private. And in that same month each of his two sons were clearly committed to US Army fighting in Europe for American Freedom.
And, in this same way, the Spirit of Freedom has been spread through millions of American Families facing the American Revolutionary War of 1775, WWI, WWII and other conflicts over the past 250 years.
And within each family, the dialogue of Monumental Talks identifies the true American as one who understands that American Dreams and American Freedom are only made possible through willingness to Pay the Cost of Freedom.
The Message:
- The Dialogue of Monumental Talks, Freedom and Family, is a Message that extends beyond Everett.
- It is a Timeless message that has arisen for 250 years within many Communities, Towns and throughout our Nation.
- And it is a Message not focused upon –
- Politics
- Religion
- Ethnicity
Therefore:
It was ultimately the Dialogue of Monumental Talks from which the motivation arose within American families to help defeat the forces that attacked our American Freedom on 9/11.
