Recognition Celebration for Everett Anesthesia
at the Dorothy Jayne Studio May 17, 2009
Sanford Wright Jr, M.D.
Dear friends and Colleagues:
The Pacific Anesthesia Group in Everett was established in 2005. However, the heritage of this group extends back through the Anesthesia Division of the Western Washington Medical Group and even before that to the first anesthesia group in Everett – Medical Anesthesia Associates, founded by Gene Mason M.D. and Donald Weis M.D. 60 years ago.
Recently, the contract between Providence Regional Medical Center Everett and the Pacific Anesthesia Group was not renewed. Therefore, all twenty five (25) members of Pacific Anesthesia, some of whom have worked in Everett for 25 to 30 years, will no longer be providing anesthesia for Everett’s surgeons after May 17, 2009.
A Recognition Celebration will take place at the Dorothy Jayne Studio on Sunday, May 17, 2009 in honor of their service and many kindnesses to patients and colleagues over the years.
Below you will find video clips, photos and comments relating to the many years that these individuals have supported the anesthesia needs of our medical community.
Also, watch for the candid video clips that will be found on this website after the celebration!
Sincerely,
Sanford Wright Jr. M.D.
